Personal Experience
My professional career has been dedicated primarily to the practice of family law and representing clients from different walks of life; from successfully helping clients exercise their right to parenting time with their children to obtaining exclusive possession of the matrimonial home. Just as no two marriages or relationships are alike, a separation or divorce is no different. Each client and family is unique, and will require a specific approach tailored to their circumstances.
I began my career as a law clerk at a boutique Family Law firm in Richmond Hill, where I later articled as a student and worked as an associate after my call to the bar in 2018. Later, I worked at a prominent firm in Mississauga as part of the Family Law team before starting my own practice.
A divorce or separation can feel like the most difficult and challenging time of your life, however, with the right guidance and clarity it does not also have to be a stressful financial burden. While I encourage settlement outside of the courtroom whenever possible, I understand in some situations that may not be an option. During the litigation process I am honest and transparent with my clients about all potential outcomes, including legal costs, while strongly advocating for their rights before both the Superior Court of Justice and Ontario Court of Justice.
While my professional career began in the area of family law, I also practice in residential real estate matters. Whether you are a first time home buyer or looking to purchase a home to retire in, I understand the importance behind the transaction and the significance of the journey. Real estate closings can be nerve-racking, however, with reliable communication and full transparency, I aim to make the process as smooth as possible for you, so you can focus on the next exciting chapter of your life.
